Product Description William Grimes, formerly of the New York Times, says: " When the need for a real espresso becomes over powering, buy a ticket to Rome, tell the taxi driver to head straight for the Sant'Eustachio Caffe".
Caffe' Sant' Eustachio is a Roman legend, the coffee bar where Romans in the know stop for their daily dose of cappuccino and espresso. Located just steps away from the Pantheon and Piazza Navona, in the heart of Rome, Sant' Eustachio has been producing its signature coffee since 1938. If the quintessential coffee aroma will hit you first upon entering the beautiful coffee shop, you will be impressed as well by the Café's original furniture and mosaic floors. Sant' Eustachio coffee is roasted on the premises, in the back of the coffee bar, without any chemical processing. The beans, selected by the owner Roberto Ricci from the best coffee varieties in the world are slowly roasted on wood. The Sant' Eustachio blend, 100% Arabica beans, tastes smooth and sweet, it has an extremely low acidity and caffeine content, making it also ideal for a creamy cup of cappuccino. The beans are roasted in small batches ensuring an ever fresh fragrance and packed in the original yellow can which bears the picture of a stag's head, the symbol of the Sant' Eustachio Church, a church more than 1000 years old and still standing in the same piazza across from the Sant' Eustachio Café'.

| Customer Reviews: $13.00 for 8 oz's coffee by Sant' Eustachio July 11, 2010 Kris (Burns, Tn, US) Love the taste just didn't last long, only 8.8oz's for 12.99.
to little coffee for so much cash.
seriously disappointed February 3, 2010 D. triveri Have ordered this coffee previously and was very pleased. The last order was very unsatisfactory. The coffee changed significantly. It tasted old and not much different than any on the shelf coffee one might buy at the market. I contacted the company and they said it was the same coffee. They did offer to send me another can to try. I have not received it yet. I will not buy it again unless they can prove to me they can supply the quality coffee I have received from them in the past. If I want "folgers" type coffee, I can get it much cheaper at the super market!
Nothing's perfect but a fine cup of coffee January 24, 2010 Up in Harbor Springs, MI Recently purchased this Italian coffee in a can. Very respectible java - smooth and not as acidic like many others, which is good for those who may have more sensitive stomachs. The price is much more than what you might normally pay for eight ounces and change of coffee elsewhere. If the price was less, would have considered giving five stars. For an occasional treat, it is worth having some around.
Perfect cup of coffee. November 18, 2009 doodle76 (Illinois) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I ordered this coffee after reading about it in a magazine last year...and I am sorry that I waited a whole year to taste this! I am a coffee fanatic, and have tasted coffees from all regions of the world. What I love about this is the smooth finish - this coffee has no acidity - and the rich flavor. When I first opened my can (and yes, I did purchase the ground coffee due to having no coffee grinder at the moment) I was surprised by the pronounced chocolate smell. This is not a flavored coffee, but I can only assume that due to the way they roast their beans the cocoa comes out in this bean. Once brewed, it just has a subtle sweetness with a cocoa finish, great on it's own or with a little cream & sugar. This obviously makes a good espresso...hopefully someday I can make it to Italy to try it straight from the source!!
The best coffee of my life February 5, 2009 Kim Gallina (NY, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been to Rome a handful of times in the past 3 years and each time I go, I stock up on the coffee from Sant' Eustachio. In Rome, it's known as the best coffee in the whole city. I can't agree more. When I ran out a few months ago, I tried to drink other coffee - good coffee - but it wasn't good enough. Nothing could compare to Sant' Eustachio. I did an internet search and found it on Gustiamo.com - the price on Amazon was a tiny bit cheaper, so I ordered it from Gustiamo thru Amazon.com. As I sit here writing my review, I am sipping my coffee from Sant' Eustachio and I couldn't be happier.
The coffee is a dark brew, low in caffeine but high in taste.
