Awesome Performance! November 22, 2008 Julie A. Waters (Lake Lillian MN) I own 2 of these SD Cards + the free Readers. I have had none of the troubles that were described in the previous review. I am running XP Home and "Nothin' but Net", totally "Plug & Play", Pics, WMA's, MP3's, MPEG's, and a wide assortment of App's! Windows Media Player recognized the Card Reader/Card as a Syncable device, both Sync from and Sync to, "Piece of Cake"! A word about use of this 8GB card is Cameras. On many Digital Cameras, the firmware onboard won't recognize a card larger than 4GB, and in many cases, no larger than 2GB. As the Firmware programers never envisioned use of any card larger than 2 or 4GB's. So, do Your homework! This is a great buy, on a great product! D.M.Waters Lake Lillian MN
DOA! August 23, 2008 Erik R. Hilde (Orange County, CA) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Item arrived DOA. Would not work at all in new Nikon D60, and only very slowly in WinXP via card reader, then in collapsed all together. Seller said they'd been having issues with these KingMax cards and that manufacturer said they had resolved issues -- apparently not. Won't buy KingMax again. I've been using a Transcend 2GB 150X card for a year in an 8MP Canon without issue for thousands of pics and video.
