My favorite disposable diaper by far.. August 13, 2010 Sarah 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are great diapers. They are super absorbent, stay dry and rarely leak. We had a few leaks in them when my daughter was in size 1, but we had leaks in ALL diapers at that size. We haven't had a leak in at least 7 months now. I am amazed at how much these diapers can hold. another plus there are no dumb designs on them that show through clothes, they are simple and sweet!
Cheap and Cheaply made August 11, 2010 Ilovethejob 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
2 factors in purchasing this diaper; price and the reviews. The price was good. 160 diapers for what, under $30? Yeah who could go wrong right? Yeah right. First off, the sizes run small, I'd say about a size small. So if you're thinking about buying the N size, get size 1 instead. The elastic is almost non existent. The tabs were short in relation to the size of the diaper. So picture a size 1 diaper with size N tabs. Not good. The diaper itself is very stiff to the touch. Maybe it's so because it's supposed to be non-toxic and chlorine free, but the stiffness really was a problem for us because it definitelly kept the baby from moving her little legs freely. I've used Pampers on my 3 yr old and now the baby girl and they've never had any problems with it. The only toxic thing that've I've noticed with pampers is after my baby girl poos, oh yeah it's toxic! So I say give this brand a try if you must, but You'll go back to the famous brands in no time imo.
Horrible rash! August 11, 2010 Unity Dienes (Hollis, NH) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I feel so bad for my sweet toddler. She had been doing fine with Pampers--not a single rash ever. Then I decided to try to go a little green and got her these--and within 2 days she has a horrible bright red rash everywhere. I have no idea why there is a difference but it is unmistakeable in our case. I believe I will donate these diapers and just buy more Pampers.
Plus, honestly, I don't even feel that bad about going back to Pampers because the only improvement that I can see in these is that they don't use bleach. All the other chemicals, gels, etc, are still in there. So, big whoop.
I'm saving my baby's bottom.
What they say is true ... August 11, 2010 T. Kim (Seattle, WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
There are some other reviewers who have noted that the newborn diapers aren't so great. I have to agree. We tried the newborns and they were a disaster so we switched to Huggies Pure and Natural. The Huggies worked great but were so expensive that we decided to go back to the 7th Gen when our baby got big enough for the size 1 diapers. Now he's on to size 4 and we've had no complaints. The only "leaks" we've had were from the crazy blowouts that I don't think any diaper could have contained.
So, to sum it up, if you're reading this review then you obviously care about things like chlorine free diapers, environmental impact, etc and if you care about those things then you certainly can't go wrong with these 7th gen diapers as long as you stay away from the Newborn size.
love these diapers, wish they cost less. August 11, 2010 C. Bell (plymouth, ma) These are fabulous diapers!! I do however wish they cost less, so that I could buy them more often. This month, I had to buy cheapos, 7th gen wasn't in the budget.
